CARY A. RATLIFF
President

Cary has over 30 years of experience in commercial and industrial construction.
As President of Sequoyah Construction, Cary oversees the development of the project from start to finish. He is responsible for total coordination and operation of construction projects including writing and processing contracts, scheduling, purchasing, estimating and maintaining owner and architect relations.
Projects have included high-rise offices, industrial projects, hotels, pre-engineered buildings, pre-cast & tilt-up concrete structures, restaurants and various light commercial projects.
Cary is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Blacksburg, Virginia. |

MICHAEL J. WASSERMAN
Vice President - Operations
Mike has 20 years of experience in commercial and industrial construction with a degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida.
As Project Manager, Mike is responsible for coordination, project management and field operations. Projects have included high-rise buildings, hospitals, museums, research facilities, hotels, restaurants and various light commercial projects. |

DOUGLAS McLEMORE
General Superintendent
Doug offers 25 years experience in commercial and residential construction. His experience includes shopping centers, mid-rise office buildings, pre-engineered metal buildings and warehouses. Doug oversees multiple projects and other Superintendents and has been with Sequoyah for eight years. |

DEBORAH E. MILLER
Controller
Deborah has over 20 years of experience in accounting and business management. She has worked in the construction industry for over 10 years and her areas of expertise include knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, job costing, tax reporting and audit procedures.
Deborah has a degree in Accounting from Broward College, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and continued her studies in the Accounting and Business Management Program at the University of Tennessee. |

WAYNE DECKER
Chief Estimating Officer
Wayne has over 38 years experience in all phases of construction including operations management, project management and field operations. His background includes churches, banks, schools, condominiums and office buildings. |

KARIN DAVIS
Chief Financial Officer
Karin is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and holds both a Bachelor of Science as well as a Master of Accountancy. She has eight years of experience in the construction accounting arena and was a senior audit manager for a regional accounting firm. She will direct the firm’s financial goals, objectives and budgets. |

STACEY POOLE
Project Manager/Project Estimator
Stacey has over 20 years experience in all facets of the construction industry and construction projects. He has a Civil Engineering Technology degree from the University of Southern Indiana. |

TIM LEONARD
Project Estimator
As project estimator, Tim’s responsibilities include conceptual estimating, assessment of subcontractor bids, and review of contract documents for estimating purposes. A graduate of East Tennessee State University, Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology and is certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. |

WILL CRUMLEY
Project Manager
Will is a graduate of East Tennessee State with a B.S. in Construction Management. Will has several years of experience including hospitals, restaurants, high rise residential and long term care facilities. |

HOWARD WEST
Project Manager
Howard is a Project Manager at Sequoyah Limited. He has nearly thirty years experience in project management. He has experience not only in commercial construction but also industrial, educational, design build and pre-engineered buildings. Howard also has in-depth experience in historical restoration and renovation projects. |

ROB McGRAW
Project Manager
Rob has a B.S. degree in Construction Engineering from East Tennessee State University. Rob has several years experience in project management with an emphasis on medical renovation and hospital expansion as well as industrial and retail experience. |

JOE KING
Project Manager
Joe hasa a B.S. degree in Construction Management from Eastern Kentucky University. Joe has several years of project management experience and also owned his own construction company. Joe has prior experience in commercial projects including office, warehouse, retail and restaurants. |

SHARON WALSH
Office Manager
Sharon’s background includes over 20 years experience in office management and real estate. Her knowledge of the real estate market gives her an advantage when assisting our Project managers and field Superintendents. |

STEPHANIE BRADLEY
Project Manager's Assistant
Stephanie has over 10 years experience in managing payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable with nine years of administrative management experience. She is a graduate of Sparks Business College. |

PAM HERBERT
Accounting Specialist
Pam serves as an assistant to the Controller. She has 10 years experience in accounting and specializes in payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and collections. She has an Associate’s Degree from Pellissippi State Community College in Business Management. |

MARGARET KILE
Accounts Payable
Margaret handles all paperwork that comes through our office. She has 15 years of experience in the construction industry as an accounts manager in charge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, production and operation reports. |

ANNA CHRISTIANSEN
Receptionist
Anna is the receptionist and front desk person at Sequoyah Limited. She has worked previously in sales, customer service and office administration. She has an Associates Degree in Business Management. |

ANGEL SHULTZ
Payroll
With more than 22 years of credit management, payroll and billing expertise, Angel has a strong understanding of human resource management as it relates to the construction industry. She is also a Certified Credit Administrator (CCA) and Certified Payroll Professional (CPP). Angel oversees all human resource operations including client billings, payroll and employee benefits.
